This free workshop walks tenants through their rights as renters under Missouri law.

You will come away knowing how to advocate for yourself in a variety of common situations with landlords—including housing discrimination—and you’ll also hear updates on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting tenants. This includes an explanation of the recent order from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that limits evictions for people experiencing a COVID-related hardship.

Bring your questions for a Q&A with our facilitator, Marissa Cohen of the Metropolitan St. Louis Equal Housing and Opportunity Council, as well as staff from Beyond Housing and a Washington University expert in negotiation between landlords and tenants.
