This month, the group will be talking about how to activate the parks in the community, including discussion about the Allies of Marquette Park group as well as potential activation strategies for some smaller "pocket parks" like Minnie Wood and Laclede Park.

As always, the CEC will also discuss the problems folks are facing in the neighborhood and how to work together to address them. They’ll also review how people can get involved with DSCC's other projects, programs, and committees that address topics such as housing and vacancy, parks, trash and environmental justice.
